MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – March 17, 2014 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Marc LeVasseur, Foresight Land Services
Michael Sullivan, Fire Chief
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Marc presented the Selectboard with a proposal for the resurfacing of Route 57 from Sandisfield Town Line to Burt Hill Road, and the Town Center Resurfacing and drainage improvements, and culvert evaluation.
Summary of Opinion of Probable Costs and Remaining Grant Funds:
- Route 57 Mill & Overlay – Sandisfield to Burt Hill Road $713,000
- Town Center Drainage & 2000 ft Mill & Overlay $186,000
-Total $899,000
-MassWorks Grant $990,000
-Remaining Funds $ 91,000
With the remaining funds the Selectboard will focus on Priority 3 & 4 culverts which are located along New Boston Road.
Mike Sullivan informed the Selectboard of the Mass Casualty drill dates (May 6th & June 7th).
